We've had this on our to-do list for many years and finally crossed it off! Our daughter and son-in-law, who live in the big apple, tagged along on the flight.
The Hudson River Exclusion (often referred to as the “Hudson Corridor”) is located over the Hudson River in New York City.
The corridor provides airspace below the altitudes used by flights to and from NY’s major airports, even lower than the tops of many of the skyscrapers!
Strict procedures are used by pilots flying in the corridor to ensure safety and efficiency while passengers enjoy a spectacular view of the iconic New York skyline.
